  • Summary

If you're anything like me, you keep old material scraps and byproducts from past projects. I have a stack of old wood & acrylic and bins full of strips, holes, and cutouts. Small projects like gift tags are a perfect opportunity to repurpose some of these scraps!

I created a simple tag shape in XCS, then I integrated various holiday images from the shape library. These look great right out of the machine, but you could also stain or paint to your liking. I finished them off with some colorful ribbon. If you don't have any narrow ribbon handy, you can also use twine or string for a more rustic effect!

The attached design file also includes a template layer you can use to integrate your own design elements.
