Summary

When I was growing up, my parents had a paddle hanging behind the stove in our kitchen with 'Board of Education' written on it. Years later, as I embarked on my journey to become a school principal, I found humor in the idea of having a similar paddle in my office. However, my search for one proved futile. Now, in the twilight of my career, armed with the tools of my trade, I finally had the means to craft my own paddle. Although I've made it, I've yet to hang it in my office, unsure of how my humor will be received in 2024 compared to decades past.
