  • Summary

Did I need a protractor? No. Was this a fun project? Yes!

I haven't used a protractor in over 15 years, but I also didn't want to create just a ruler. I thought it would be fun to make something that I haven't seen in a while. I might end up making a set with a ruler and right angle ruler too, just for fun!

All I used was some 1.5MM scrap basswood and clear satin polycrylic. See below for how I did this project. If I had to do it over, I would make my power settings for the engraving a little higher so they are a bit deeper. I would also redo the tracing on the numbers, as they came out a bit distorted.
