Summary
It's a project dictated by my need to display my diecast cars without harming the models. This wall display it's my first attempt at doing that. All cars are mounted with rubber bands so no driling or gluing is needed. the "shelfs" are a really tight fit so they are secured to the backboard. Please make a test to check if the sizes are fitting your needs. I used HDF but this can also be used with different material (plywood, MDF etc.). Please test your laser setting beforhand. On the Canvas1 there is a board plan and on the Canvas2 are shelfs. All can be modified. I added a quick video showing how to attach a car using a rubber band.
