Summary

This is a tutorial for a rose with customized initials. The project provides the necessary template designs and an extensive guide of how to adjust to the letters of your choice. 
Optionally, the rose details can be engraved for 1-layer, or cut and glued for a 2-layer design. For the latter, it may be filled with epoxy resin, as shown in the pictures. 
I propose to cut the stem from sturdy wood for stability. I used 4mm beech. Birch wood will break easily. For the rose layer, however, you may use any wood. I used 2mm birch wood.
Cut a frame around the rose and use it for packaging, as shown in the picture. 

The rose design builds on an AI generated vector, which was manually simplified for laser cut.
