Summary

I wanted to make a box with a living hinge. I made one in honor of my sisters husbands mother. They provided a card with her handwriting and a smiley face she drew to add to it. 

The box was made using Festi boxes.py generator with the over- the top lid (image 2). 

I imported the image of the card with her handwriting and smiley face into XCS. I cleaned up the image using the eraser tool in edit photo mode. Then I did a trace of the handwriting.  I added a photo I edited using Imag-R and a quote I found online to each of the sides. I copied the image of her handwriting and cropped to just include her handwriting that read Mom for the top. Added the complete handwriting to the bottom inside (image 3). I added a copy of the XCS file in case you want to use the same size box. It was the default size in the boxes.py simple box.

She and her husband were so thankful for this reminder of his mom who played such an important role in their lives.
