Unfortunately the "Pine Board" is not selectable...the cut is 12" x 12" which makes the alignment of all the numbers much better when you go from the center out. I did drill a hole through the material to mount the clock kit (you can get a 1/2" or 3/4" kit). I painted with paint markers.
