Summary
I attempted this project as more of a proof of concept than anything else. I wanted to create large letters to use in the yard on Halloween night. With some research I found out about the glow-in-the-dark paint, which seemed perfect. Turns out that spraying virtually invisible paint is pretty tricky! I used three coats of the paint, and if we use these next year, I'll want to sand and add a few more coats for a more even coverage and glow. I used Trattatello, a font that comes with MacOS; made the letters as large as I could to engrave on the M1 honeycomb panel; then converted the letters to curves so the design file can be used by anyone.
