Summary

My wife was contacted to be a vendor at a local girls’ softball tournament. We had one week to prepare! I ordered some mini-bats from Amazon and put the tournament name/sponsor on it, and then put custom text on the opposite side. Some people wanted name & jersey number, others wanted their team’s name. Still others didn’t want the tournament name, only the player & jersey number.  The F1 connected to my laptop via usb provided the flexibility to get this done.  As I did sales, I told them if their team won, bring the bat back and I’d add CHAMPIONS for free.
I also had keychains I engraved at a lower price. The items took a few hours to be noticed, but by the end of the day, we had people coming to our booth asking for the little bats and keychains “I’ve seen the kids with. They’re so cute!” 😃  We’ve been asked back to at least two more upcoming tournaments. 
My wife does crochet animals and custom T-shirts. I do the laser.
