Summary
I have a wall sign that I decorate with different elements depending on the season. I didn't have anything for September, the month between my summer and Halloween decoration. We have a lot of sunflower patches around here right now so I thought I'd make another barn quilt (check my profile for framed star one I made last year) in the shape of a sunflower. If you like barn quilts, check Pinterest for a ton of different patterns and themes. This sunflower is 2 layers, a backer and the individual shapes. Because I attach my decorations to my sign with velcro, I don't include holes to hang, but I did include a hanger file if you want to hang it. To assemble I placed all the pieces on the backer until centered, removed all but the middle square and marked it on the back. Starting with that piece I glued each piece down center out. disclaimer: I would love to see someone remix this file so that the overlapping pieces were combined and removed. For simplicity and time, I cut all the shapes out separately. Even still all the pieces only too a little over 5 minutes on my S1 40w
