I wish i had not purchased this design, the instructions do not match the cuts and there is no instructions on how to install the face, or the engraved pieces as there are no cut outs or anything so im not sure how to attach them as its obviously not glue since they are spinning in this example with the gears.

I am very sorry for the trouble. I am using the wood board in the link below, which is about 2.8~3mm thick. This design is indeed not compatible with wood boards of other thicknesses. I will improve my design to be compatible with more thickness sizes. This is awesome and I love how it looks even unassembled! Could you give me a tip on how to enlarge the cutouts for the attachments? I have tried and tried but my attachments will not fit into the relief cuts for them. I'm talking about the cutouts within the gears and along the outsides of the coaster.

Thank you for your interest, and I'm sorry that I'm replying to you only now. Regarding the size of the slots for assembly, this is indeed a very troubling question. I use a 3mm basswood board. How thick is the board you use? Next time I may have to improve my design to be compatible with materials of greater thickness.

It was about 3.4mm. Basswood ply sometimes has enough variability between different batches that some is 2.7 ish and some goes as high as the batch I was struggling with.

This is awesome and I'm learning alot from it. BUT, the gif... Please make a PDF for the instructions indicating where to glue etc. Not clear enough. I love your work, and have bought from Etsy from you.

Also, your design only has 1 small gear with 5 holes, and your GIF shows all of them having the holes. Confusing.
